When pickling sugar garlic, you need to prepare 5 kilograms of garlic, 500 grams of table salt, 900 grams of brown sugar, 70 grams of vinegar, 25 grams of saccharin, 500 grams of soy sauce, and a clean container.

Steps for pickling sugar garlic

1. Remove the old outer skin of the prepared garlic, peel off the roots, cut off its stems, and then soak it in clean water. Change the water twice a day during soaking. The soaking time should be about two to three days.

2. Take out the soaked garlic, remove the water and add salt to marinate it for about a week. Take out the marinated garlic, place it in the sun to dry, and put it away after it is half dry.

3. Put vinegar into the pot, add soy sauce, brown sugar, saccharin and appropriate amount of water and boil to make the sauce. Then take it out to cool it down.
