Red Bean and Black Rice Porridge

Black rice contains three times more inorganic salts such as zinc and copper than rice. Eating more black rice can stimulate appetite, strengthen the spleen and warm the liver. This is the first time I have eaten black rice porridge. I usually don't order it when I drink sugar porridge outside. Since it has the effect of nourishing the kidney and nourishing the skin, I will eat more in the future.

Main ingredients: 100g black rice 80g red beans 10 red dates appropriate amount of rock sugar appropriate amount

How to make red bean and black rice porridge

1. Soak red beans for more than 12 hours

2 Soak the black rice overnight and keep the soaking water

3 Put red beans and black rice into the rice cooker and add enough water to cook.

4. Soak the red dates

5. Prepare a little oatmeal. You can add more if you like.

6 After the black rice porridge is boiled, add a bowl of cold water and continue to cook until the black rice and red beans are soft, then add rock sugar and red dates.

7 Finally add oats and cook for two or three minutes.

8 Pour into a bowl, let it cool and then transfer to the refrigerator for better taste

Tips

Red beans and black rice are easy to cook after soaking. If you don’t have time to soak them, you can cook them for a longer time.

I don’t add rice when I add oats. I think it tastes better with oats.
