How to make lemon juice? Do you need to peel the lemon when making juice?

In summer, when the temperature is too high, people tend to feel irritable and have a poor appetite. At this time, people want to drink some sweet and sour lemon juice, but they feel that the lemon juice sold outside is of poor quality, so they want to make it at home. But how should fresh lemons be squeezed for juice? Do you usually peel fresh lemons when squeezing juice?

How to squeeze lemon juice

Method 1

1. To squeeze lemon juice, you need to prepare 1 to 2 fresh lemons, ten crystal sugars, 300 grams of pure water, 20 grams of honey, and a food processor.

2. Put the prepared rock sugar in a pot, add half of the pure water, heat it to a boil, let it cool down naturally and set aside. Wash the fresh lemon with clean water, remove the peel, and cut the pulp into small pieces.

3. Prepare the food processor, put the cut lemon pulp into the food processor, add the remaining half of the purified water, turn on the power, let the food processor work, fry the lemon until it becomes juice, then take out the lemon juice obtained by filtering out the residue, put it in a cup, then add the boiled rock sugar water, and mix them evenly with chopsticks.

Method 2

You can also use the juicer at home to squeeze lemon juice. Before squeezing the juice, wash the fresh lemon with clean water, cut it into pieces with a clean fruit knife, and put it directly into the juicer. Add appropriate amount of boiled water, squeeze out the juice, put it in a cup, add honey to taste and you can drink it.

Should I peel the lemon when juicing it?

Whether to peel the lemon when juicing is entirely a matter of personal preference, because the lemon peel is edible and contains a large amount of volatile oils and aromatic substances. Not removing the peel when juicing it can make the juice more nutritious, but this will make the finished lemon juice have a slightly sour taste. If you don't like this taste, you can remove the lemon peel before juicing.
