When growing mung bean sprouts at home, you must prepare a water-draining vegetable washing sieve, a clean cotton towel and a piece of white gauze, and then prepare some new mung beans and an appropriate amount of water.

Steps to growing mung bean sprouts

1. Pick out the prepared mung beans, remove all the damaged and spoiled ones, wash the selected mung beans with clean water, put them into a clean small pot, add clean water to cover the mung beans, and then cover the pot.

2. Place the small pot containing mung beans in a cool place overnight and take it out the next day. Then take an opaque container, place the vegetable washing sieve on it, cover it with a towel, wet the towel with your hands, and then place the soaked mung beans on it.

3. Wet the prepared white gauze with clean water, then drain the water and cover it directly on the mung beans in the vegetable washing sieve. Don’t cover it too thickly. Then take a heavier basin to press on it. Then in the next few days, take down the basin and water the gauze directly. Once or twice a day will be enough.

4 After about three to five days, the mung bean sprouts will grow to about three centimeters. At this time, the mung bean sprouts you grow at home are considered to be ready. If you want to eat them, you can take them out, wash them with clean water, and stir-fry them directly.
