How to wash strawberries cleanly

1. Soak in salt water

When washing strawberries, you can put clean water in a basin, add about five grams of table salt, then put the strawberries into the water, stir them with your hands, and soak them. After half an hour, take out the strawberries and rinse them with clean water. This will remove all the dirt on the surface of the strawberries and decompose all the pesticide residues on the surface, making them particularly safe for people to eat.

2. Wash strawberries with rice water

You can save the water used to wash rice. It is also great to use it to wash strawberries. Put the strawberries into the water and shake it with a basin to allow the water to come into close contact with the strawberries. Take out the strawberries after three to five minutes and the dirt on their surface will be absorbed by the water. The surface of the strawberries will become especially clean. Rinse them with clean water and you can eat them.

3. Wash strawberries with flour

When washing strawberries, you can take a small amount of flour, put water in a basin, add flour and mix well, and then put the strawberries into the water. The flour in the water has a strong adsorption capacity and can absorb the dirt on the surface of the strawberries, leaving them in the flour water, stir it with your hands several times, take it out and rinse it with clean water. In addition, when washing strawberries, it is best not to remove the stems, so as to prevent the dirt on the surface of the strawberries from entering the inside of the strawberries through the small holes in the stems.
