Comparison of nutritional value of plum, apricot, peach and nectarine

Plums, apricots, peaches, and nectarines are all fruits we often eat in our daily lives. Do you know their nutritional value?

People know that eating more fruits is good for health and can improve skin, but little is known about the nutritional content of various fruits. Recently, the American "Barkley's Food Encyclopedia" announced the nutritional content of four common fruits, as follows.

Plum calories:

Plums have the highest number of calories, at 55, followed by nectarines, at 49, apricots, at 48, and peaches, at 43.

Vitamin A:

Apricots have the highest vitamin A content, containing 2,612 international units, which is 65% of women's daily vitamin A requirement and 52% of men's daily vitamin A requirement; nectarines, 736 international units; peaches, 535 international units; plums do not contain vitamin A.

Plums Vitamin C:

Plums and apricots each contain 10 mg of vitamin C; peaches, 7 mg; while nectarines contain no vitamin C.

Sugars (Carbohydrates):

The sugar content of these fruits is roughly the same: plums, 13; nectarines, 12; peaches and apricots, 11 respectively.

Fat/Cholesterol:

These fruits each contain 1 gram of fat, 1 gram of saturated fat, and no cholesterol.

fiber:

Apricots contain more fiber than peaches, plums, and nectarines, which are considered low-fiber fruits.

In addition, peaches and nectarines also contain protein (1 mg), and only nectarines contain beta-carotene (2 mg) and salt (1 mg sodium chloride).
