Today, the editor will introduce it to you.

Lily planting tips

1. Choose high-quality bulbs

Lily is a special plant that reproduces through lilies. When people grow lilies, choosing bulbs is a necessary process. And when choosing bulbs, they must choose those high-quality bulbs that are strong and disease-free. Before planting, they must use scissors to cut off all the bad roots and rotten roots at the bottom.

2. Disinfection of bulbs

During the collection and storage process of lily bulbs, some harmful substances will remain on the surface. Before planting, they should be disinfected. Before disinfection, the lily bulbs need to be cleaned with clean water, and then soaked in a thousand times carbendazim solution for half an hour, so that all harmful substances on the surface can be eliminated.

3. Planting

When planting lily bulbs, you should choose a flower pot of suitable size, and this flower pot must have a relatively strong water permeability. Before planting, you can put a layer of rubble at the bottom of the flower pot to increase its water permeability. Put the prepared nutrient soil into the flower pot, about 1/2 of the flower pot capacity, and only place the bulb in the flower pot, and then cover it with nutrient soil, so that the bud tip of the bulb is facing upward, and 0.5 cm is exposed from the surface of the nutrient soil.

Things to note when planting lilies

When planting lilies, you must pay attention to timely watering. This plant has a high demand for water during its growth period. It should be watered every 3 to 4 days, and its leaves should be sprayed with water in time to maintain the environmental humidity between 60% and 80%. In addition, when planting lilies, you must also pay attention to the regulation of light. This plant likes to stand in the sun and is afraid of strong light. After the high temperature in summer, it must be shaded in time.
