Diamond Rose Cultivation Methods and Techniques

Diamond rose is the most popular variety in the rose family. This plant is not big, but the flowers are cute and colorful, with a particularly high ornamental value. In addition, if the artificial breeding environment is suitable, it can bloom in winter, which can add a touch of bright color to the interior in winter. So how should this beautiful diamond rose be cultivated? What are the methods and techniques for cultivating diamond roses?

1. Breeding conditions

When cultivating diamond roses, you need to choose loose, fertile, humus-rich and well-ventilated soil, and the humidity of the cultivation environment should be maintained at about 70%. This plant likes a warm environment. During the cultivation period, the indoor temperature should be adjusted to between 20 and 25 degrees. In the hot summer weather, you should also pay attention to timely cooling. Diamond roses like a sunny environment, but they are afraid of direct sunlight. It is best to place them in an environment with sufficient scattered light.

2. Fertilization techniques

There are certain methods and techniques for fertilizing diamond roses. After entering the peak growth season, fertilize every 7 to 10 days. The fertilizer must be a well-rotted thin liquid fertilizer or compound fertilizer. After entering the hot summer, the growth of diamond roses slows down. It is necessary to move it to an environment with good ventilation and no direct sunlight, and fertilization must be stopped, otherwise the leaves of the plant will turn yellow or die.

3. Watering tips

There are also some tips for watering diamond roses. It has very strict requirements for water during its growth period. It cannot be too wet or too dry. If the soil is too moist, it will damage the roots and cause leaves to fall. If the soil is too dry, it cannot meet the water needs of the diamond rose during its growth period, which will slow down its growth.

4. Pruning tips

To maintain the high ornamental value of the diamond rose, timely pruning is required, especially after each flowering period, all the remaining flowers and branches should be cut off in time. It is best to start pruning from 0.5 cm above the second or third compound leaf. This will encourage the diamond rose to grow new branches and allow it to bloom again.
