How to grow white orchids How to grow white orchids

The white jasmine has pure white flowers and a delicate fragrance. It is particularly beautiful when the flowers bloom. It is very popular in life and is one of people’s favorite household plants. However, some people don’t know how to grow white jasmine. In fact, its cultivation method is not complicated. I will write it down and share it with you later.

1. Choose the right soil

When growing white jasmine, you must choose the right soil. It likes slightly acidic soil, and likes loose, fertile and well-drained soil. When making potted plants, you can take five parts of leaf mold, two parts of coarse chrysanthemum ash, two parts of coarse sand, and add one part of fermented manure. After mixing them evenly, you can directly plant white jasmine.

2. Plenty of sunlight

When growing white jasmine, you must provide it with sufficient sunlight, because it is a positive flower. Whether it is during the growth period or after entering the flowering period, it needs sufficient sunlight. Normally, it is exposed to light for no less than six hours a day. If it is placed in an environment with insufficient light, it will only grow leaves but no flowers, or the number of flowers will be very small.

3. Breeding temperature

When growing white jasmine, you must pay attention to temperature regulation, because white jasmine is a plant that likes warmth and fears cold. After entering late autumn, the temperature drops, and you need to move it indoors and place it in a warm sunny place. Also, make sure the indoor temperature is above ten degrees. If the indoor temperature is below five degrees, it will die due to the low temperature.

4. Water appropriately

The beautiful white orchid is a plant with fleshy roots. It does not need excessive watering. If it is overwatered, its leaves will fall off and the roots will rot. But it cannot be left without water for a long time, otherwise its leaves will dry up. Under normal circumstances, it is enough to water it 1 to 2 times a week, and the water temperature should not be too low when watering. It is best to put the tap water in the sun for one to two days before using it.
