Steamed Yellow Croaker

5 tips for making steamed fish tender, delicious and not fishy:

1. Steamed fish must be fresh;

2. The length of steaming time depends on the size of the fish, but be careful not to steam it too long, otherwise the fish meat will become tight;

3. Place scallions and ginger on the bottom of the plate before steaming, and pour cooking wine on the fish body;

4. After steaming, the water that seeps out of the dish must be poured out before adding seasoning;

5. Pour hot oil before eating to enhance the flavor.

Ingredients: small yellow croaker, onion, ginger, dried red pepper, cooking wine, steamed fish soy sauce

Steamed yellow croaker recipe

1. Remove the scales, fins and internal organs of the small yellow croaker, clean it and drain the water for later use;

2. Place a layer of ginger slices and scallions on the bottom of the plate, then place the washed fish evenly on top;

3. Pour cooking wine on it and steam it in boiling water for about 5 minutes;

4. Take out the water that has seeped out of the plate, remove the scallions and ginger, sprinkle half of the scallions on the fish, and drizzle with Lee Kum Kee Steamed Fish Soy Sauce;

5. Heat up a pan with oil, sauté the dried red pepper and the other half of the chopped green onion, then pour the hot oil over the fish.
