Ingredients and method of green bean and fresh meat dumplings

Green bean and fresh meat dumplings are my favorite, very delicious, I make them every weekend, so today I will tell you the specific method:

Green beans (edamame kernels) some amount, minced pork some amount, dumpling wrappers some amount, salt some amount, minced ginger some amount, five-spice powder some amount, white pepper powder some amount, starch some amount, pepper oil some amount

How to make green bean and meat dumplings:

1. Wash the edamame kernels with clean water and blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Remove from the water and let it cool for later use.

2. Add minced ginger, salt, pepper oil, white pepper powder, five-spice powder and corn starch to the minced pork and marinate for 20 minutes.

3. Mix the green beans and minced meat. Stir.

4. Put appropriate amount of mixed meat filling in the dumpling skin.

5. Use both hands to pinch it tightly so that it will not fall apart when cooking. If the dumpling skin is too dry, you can apply some water on the edge of the dumpling skin.

6. Place the wrapped dumplings on a container sprinkled with flour.

7. Cook the dumplings after the water boils. You can eat them after they are cooked!

Tips

1. Put the dumplings in the pot after the water is boiled, and immediately push them a few times with a spoon. The action must be gentle and slow. Otherwise, the dumpling skin will stick to the bottom of the pot after being put into the pot, and the dumplings will easily rot when pushed.

2. Push gently a few times and then cover the pot. After the water boils again, open the lid and simmer on low heat.

3. When cooking dumplings, you don’t need to add cold water. Just cook them over low heat. Don’t use high heat so that the dumplings won’t become mushy easily.

4. Cook the dumplings until they are round and plump, and it looks like they are filled with air. Cook them for another minute.
