Potted cultivation methods and precautions for tuberose

Tuberose is a common ornamental plant in life. It can be cultivated in the garden or made into potted plants. It can beautify the environment for human appreciation. But how should potted tuberose be cultivated? What are the precautions for cultivating potted tuberose? The following editor will tell you in detail.

Potted cultivation method of tuberose

1. Soil

The soil is very heavy when night-blooming jasmine is grown in a potted plant, so you must choose loose, well-drained and fertile soil. It is best to choose peat soil, leaf mold, coarse river mud, and farmyard manure, and put some broken pieces at the bottom of the flowerpot to facilitate drainage of the flowerpot.

2. Environment

When growing tuberose in a potted plant, the environment is also very important. It needs a well-ventilated environment. From May to September every year, it should be placed in a shaded yard or balcony. However, in the hot summer weather, the potted tuberose must not be placed under strong light at noon, otherwise its night petals will be burned.

3. Temperature

It is also very important to control the temperature when growing potted tuberose. Before winter, it should be moved to a warm room. It should not be placed in an environment below five degrees, otherwise the potted tuberose will die due to the low temperature.

Precautions for growing potted tuberose

When growing potted tuberose, you must be careful not to place it in the bedroom, because tuberose blooms mostly at night and has a strong fragrance when it blooms. This fragrance can aggravate high blood pressure and cause adverse symptoms such as dizziness and chest tightness in heart patients. In severe cases, it can also make people have difficulty breathing.
