Bamboo orchid can be grown indoors, it can purify the air and beautify the environment, but many people do not understand the cultivation methods of bamboo orchids and do not know how to grow it. Today I will give a detailed introduction to this.

Bamboo orchid cultivation method

1. The cultivation conditions of bamboo orchid

Bamboo orchid is a plant that likes sunlight, warmth and drought-resistance. It should be grown in fertile soil with sufficient sunlight and good drainage. It does not require much water and only needs to be watered once every three to five days. Water should not be allowed to accumulate in the pot.

2. Temperature for growing bamboo orchids

Temperature is very important if you want to grow bamboo orchids well. It has poor cold resistance and should be moved to a warm room in time after winter. It should not be placed in an environment below five degrees. After moving it indoors, air circulation should be maintained and the humidity should not be too high. Bamboo orchids grow fastest when the outside temperature is between sixteen and twenty-four degrees.

3. Fertilizer supply for bamboo orchids

If you want to grow bamboo orchids well, the supply of fertilizer is also very important. Usually, you should apply sufficient base fertilizer in the potting soil, and then apply top dressing in time during the breeding period. When applying top dressing, you can use liquid fertilizer or foliar fertilizer at most. When it is in the peak growth season, you can apply a small amount of urea. You can usually apply thin cake fertilizer, but you must not apply uncomposted fertilizer, otherwise the bamboo orchid will have root rot or die.
