Three common misunderstandings in flower cultivation Common mistakes in flower cultivation

Many people like to grow flowers. It can beautify the environment, purify the air, and please the body and mind. However, you should master the correct cultivation methods when growing flowers. Some misunderstandings about growing flowers will cause irreversible damage to flowers. Today I will tell you the three common misunderstandings about growing flowers.

Three common misunderstandings about flower cultivation

1. Water more

Watering too much is one of the common misunderstandings people make when growing flowers. Watering the flowers more in summer does not mean the more the better. You should water the flowers once early in the morning every day, check the condition of the soil in the pot in the evening, and then water them a little more appropriately. You should not water the flowers during the day, and water them thoroughly when watering. For some flowers with fleshy roots, you also need to control the amount of watering. If you water them too much, the roots of the flowers will rot.

2. Place it indoors

Many people like to put flowers indoors when they grow them. This is also a misunderstanding in flower growing. If flowers are kept indoors for a long time, there will be insufficient light, which will make their leaves turn yellow or not bloom. Some other positive plants like sufficient sunlight. If they are not allowed to receive sunlight, it will be difficult for them to grow healthily. However, in the hot summer weather, the flowers should be shaded at noon to avoid sunburn.

3. Apply more fertilizer

Applying too much fertilizer is also a misunderstanding of people in flower cultivation. If too much fertilizer is applied, the flowers cannot absorb it at all, and it will also damage the root system of the flowers, which is not conducive to their healthy growth. Some plants that bloom in summer, such as jasmine, impatiens and dahlia, can be top-dressed once before flowering to promote flowering and make the flowers colorful. After the flowers fade, some phosphorus fertilizer should be applied to promote plant fruiting. No matter what fertilizer is applied, the amount must be controlled, otherwise it will be detrimental to plant growth.
