Cultivation methods and precautions of Anthurium

Anthurium, also known as Anthurium or Flamingo, is a plant of the Araceae family. This plant has a unique flower shape and bright colors, and has a high ornamental value. It is a top-quality potted flower. But how should Anthurium be cultivated? I believe that friends who like flowers in life will be concerned about this issue. For this reason, I will specially introduce the cultivation methods and precautions of Anthurium here today. Friends who like Anthurium, please take a look.

Cultivation methods and precautions of Anthurium

1. Humidity for Anthurium growth

Flowers like Anthurium have relatively high requirements for external conditions, and humidity is the most important one. It needs to grow in air with a humidity of about 70%. Normal living rooms cannot meet this condition. People can wipe the leaves of Anthurium with a warm cloth every day to increase the humidity.

2. Water and fertilizer for the growth of anthurium

Under normal circumstances, the anthurium should be watered once a week when it is growing. The principle of watering thoroughly should be followed. The watering frequency should be reduced in winter. In addition, the anthurium should be fertilized once every two weeks, and the appropriate amount of nutrient solution can be directly added with the water.

3. Pruning and temperature of anthurium

Anthuriums need to be pruned as necessary during their growth, because the petioles of their leaves will continue to degenerate during their growth, and their stipules should be cut off in time after drying. In addition, the pedicels should also be pruned in time after watering. Anthuriums grow fastest in an environment of 16 to 24 degrees. In winter, they should not be placed in places below 12 degrees, but they should also not be placed too close to heaters, otherwise the leaves of the anthurium will turn yellow and affect its appearance.
