Seaweed is a nutritious green vegetable. It has a crispy texture, rich nutrition, and excellent health benefits. It is a common dish on people's tables. Moreover, the yield of this green vegetable is particularly high, and can create considerable economic benefits for people. Many people usually want to grow it, but they just don’t know how to do it. Today I will write down the method of growing moss and share it with everyone. After understanding it, everyone will know how to grow seaweed.

1. Cultivation season and growth and development process

When planting moss, you must understand the seasons suitable for its cultivation and its growth and development process. This plant is particularly cold-resistant and is a very tenacious vegetable. It is best planted in early September each year. After entering winter, its plant height will be about two feet. In March of the second year, it will grow new leaves, and the flower moss will stretch around mid-May.

2. Land preparation and sowing

When planting moss, you should choose fertile and loose soil, especially those fertile garden moss will have a higher yield. The land should be prepared to be suitable for height, and sufficient base fertilizer should be applied. The amount of seeds used per mu should be about 300 grams. Before sowing, the soil should be watered enough, and sowing should be done after the water has penetrated into the soil. Under normal circumstances, fresh seedlings will grow about ten days after sowing.

3. Fertilizer and water supply

When growing moss, it is particularly important to supply fertilizer and water on a daily basis. Before and after it sprouts, it should be watered every 4 to 5 days. After it grows taller, it should be watered every 6 days. When the height of the plant reaches about 10 centimeters, it is necessary to apply fertilizer in time. 30 kilograms of urea can be applied per mu of land. After 10 minutes, it is necessary to water it in time. Before entering winter, it is not allowed to apply too much fertilizer and water, otherwise the above-ground part of the moss will grow too long, which will make the fleshy roots lack nutrition, which is not conducive to the development of new leaves next year.
