Junshan Silver Needle

Junshan Silver Needle

Introduction

Junshan Yinzhen, a green tea, is one of the top ten famous teas in my country. It was first produced in the Tang Dynasty and was listed as a royal tea in the Qing Dynasty. As we all know, tea can be good or bad, and the same is true for Junshan Yinzhen. Let me explain to you how to identify Junshan Yinzhen.

Identification of Junshan Silver Needle:

When identifying, usually hold a handful of dry tea with both hands and smell the tea. Any tea with the inherent fragrance is real tea; any tea with a green smell or other peculiar smell is fake tea. If you take a small amount of tea and roast it with fire, the smell of real tea and fake tea will be easier to identify.

Secondly, you can distinguish by the color of the tea leaves. Grab a handful of tea leaves and place them on a white porcelain plate, release the tea leaves, and observe carefully. If the green tea is dark green, the black tea is black, and the oolong tea is dark green, then it is the real tea. If the color is disordered and inconsistent, or it is different from the actual tea leaves, then it is suspected to be fake tea.

If it is still difficult to judge by smelling and observing the color, then you can put a small amount of tea leaves in a cup, add boiling water to brew, and then evaluate the tea soup. You can further identify the tea leaves by their color, aroma, taste, shape, and especially by the unfolded leaves. Although the size, color, and thickness of tea leaves vary, and vary depending on the variety, season, age, production conditions, and agricultural technical measures; the shape, green color, and tip of the leaves also vary depending on the variety of tea trees, but some morphological characteristics are common to all kinds of tea, but not to other plants. This is the main basis for distinguishing real tea from fake tea.

Junshan Silver Needle Tea Introduction: Junshan Silver Needle Tea has excellent color, fragrance, taste and shape. The buds are thin and straight, bright yellow in color, and shaped like silver needles, hence the name Silver Needle Tea. The quality characteristics of Junshan Silver Needle Tea: The buds are covered with white hairs, and the base color is bright golden yellow, which is known as "gold inlaid with jade". The soup is apricot yellow and clear, with a fresh aroma and a sweet and refreshing taste.

The biggest feature of Junshan Silver Needle is that after being soaked in boiling water, the tea leaves stand upright under the water like soldiers who have received orders. It is spectacular to see them floating on the water. Then the tea leaves sink to the bottom of the water, but they still stand upright, like a tumbler.

How to brew Junshan Yinzhen tea

To brew Junshan Yinzhen, it is best to use clear mountain spring water, and a transparent glass cup with a height of 10 to 15 cm and a diameter of 4 to 6 cm. The amount of tea used in each cup is 3 grams. Too much or too little will not be conducive to appreciating the shape and landscape of the tea. The brewing procedure is as follows:

(1) Appreciating tea

Use a teaspoon to take a small amount of Junshan Yinzhen and place it on a clean tea tray for guests to enjoy.

(2) Sanitary ware

Preheat the teacup with boiling water, clean the tea set, and wipe off the water droplets in the cup to prevent the tea buds from absorbing water and reducing the upright rate of the tea buds.

(3) Set up tea

Use a teaspoon to gently take out about 3 grams of Junshan Yinzhen from the tea can and put it into a teacup to be brewed.

(4) High impact

Use a kettle to pour boiling water at about 70℃, and use the force of the water to pour it into the tea cup quickly and then slowly, until the cup is half full, so that the tea buds are soaked. Later, pour it until the cup is 70% to 80% full. In order to make the tea buds absorb water evenly and sink faster, you can cover the tea cup with a glass sheet at this time. After 5 minutes, remove the glass cover. Under the action of water and heat, the shape of the tea, the sinking and floating of the tea buds, the generation of bubbles, etc. are all rare when brewing other teas. This is the unique atmosphere of Junshan Yinzhen tea.

(5) Serving tea

After brewing for about 10 minutes, you can start drinking. At this time, hold the cup with both hands and politely offer it to the guests.
