Prepare the Materials

When making fried milk at home, you need to prepare 400 grams of fresh milk, 60 grams of corn starch, 50 grams of fine sugar, one egg, 70 grams of low-gluten flour, water, baking powder and breadcrumbs, and prepare some of each in appropriate amounts.

Production steps

1. Add the prepared milk, corn starch and fine sugar, mix well, then pour into the pot and heat slowly over low heat.

2. Stir constantly during the heating process. When the milk in the pot becomes a paste, turn to medium heat and cook it. When the color turns transparent, take it out and set aside.

3. Pour the milk into a square mold, then scrape the surface flat with a knife. Put it directly into the refrigerator for two hours and take it out after it solidifies.

4. Take out the coagulated milk and cut it into strips. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add low-gluten flour, baking powder, and a small amount of fine sugar to make a paste, roll the milk cubes in the paste, and then coat them with breadcrumbs.

5. Put oil in the pan and heat it to about 160 degrees. Put the milk cubes covered with breadcrumbs into the pan and fry them until the surface is golden brown. Take them out and drain the oil. After cooling down, you can eat them directly.
