Ingredients for making pork rind jelly

When making pork skin jelly, you need to prepare an appropriate amount of raw pork skin, then prepare an appropriate amount of minced garlic, vinegar, sugar and light soy sauce. If you like spicy food, you can also prepare some chili oil.

Specific steps for making pork skin jelly

1. Soak the prepared pork skin in clean water for at least two hours, then put clean water in a pot and bring it to a boil, put in the pork skin, boil it again and cook for ten minutes.

2. Take the cooked pork skin out of the pot, wash it in warm water, put it on the panel and use a knife to scrape off the fat inside the skin. Cut the processed skin into thin strips for later use.

3. Put the shredded pork skin into the pot and add appropriate amount of water. The amount of water should be five times that of the pork skin. After boiling, use a spoon to remove the foam on the surface of the water, then turn to low heat and cook slowly for an hour, then turn off the heat.

4. After the cooked pork skin has cooled down, the homemade pork skin jelly is ready. Take it out and cut it into pieces of your choice. Add vinegar, sugar, mashed garlic, chili oil, light soy sauce and other seasonings. Mix well and serve on a plate.
