1. Seedling cultivation of milk melon

Milk melons need to be raised as seedlings before they can be planted. Since the seeds of this type of milk melon are relatively expensive, you can use plug trays to plant the seeds accurately. Milk melon seeds have very high temperature requirements and should be kept between 24 and 26 degrees. They will be able to seedlings after four or five days. About fifteen days after germination, the seedlings will grow three or four true leaves, and then they can be transplanted and planted.

2. Fertilizer and water management of milk melon

After the milk melon is planted, fertilizer and water management is very important. It should be watered once every three to four days after planting, which is conducive to the growth of seedlings. When watering after the growth of seedlings, fertilizer should be added. Ten kilograms of urea should be added per mu. Water once a week. During the fruiting period of the milk melon, potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution should be sprayed on its leaves, and attention should be paid to keeping the environmental humidity at about 80%.

3. Temperature and light during the growth of milk melons

Milk melons have certain requirements for temperature and light when growing. When they are just planted, the daytime temperature should be between 25 and 30 degrees, and the night temperature should be around 20 degrees. If the temperature is too high, you need to ventilate in time. In addition, milk melons grow fastest in a weak light environment. Planting in a greenhouse under weak light in winter will have the highest yield. If you plant milk melons in summer, you must provide shade in time when encountering strong light.
