As long as they are placed in a cool and ventilated place, they can be kept for five to seven days without deteriorating. However, before storage, the damaged shiitake mushrooms must be separated from the intact ones, otherwise it will affect the shelf life of the mushrooms. 2. How to refrigerate fresh mushrooms After collecting fresh shiitake mushrooms, do not let them get wet. Put them in a plastic bag with their stems facing upwards. Seal the bag, poke a few small holes for ventilation, and store them in the refrigerator. This way, fresh shiitake mushrooms can be stored for more than ten days. However, for the same reason, damaged shiitake mushrooms cannot be stored in this way. 3. Long-term storage method of fresh mushrooms If you want to preserve fresh shiitake mushrooms for a long time, you must undergo necessary dehydration. The specific preservation method is to put the shiitake mushrooms in a fresh-keeping bag, remove the air inside, seal it, and freeze it in the refrigerator for two days. After taking it out, thaw it and let the paper absorb the moisture on its surface. Then put it back into a new fresh-keeping bag and put it in the refrigerator. It can be preserved for a long time without deterioration. You can take it out and thaw it when you eat it. |
