How to make homemade spicy and sour cucumber strips

Ingredients for spicy and sour cucumber strips

When pickling hot and sour cucumber strips at home, you can prepare two fresh cucumbers, one spoon each of white vinegar and sugar, and one spoon of chili powder, and just prepare the appropriate amount for consumption.

Steps for pickling spicy and sour cucumber strips

1. Wash the prepared cucumbers with clean water, then cut them into segments about 8 cm long, then cut them in the middle, cut them several times, and cut them into finger-thick cucumber strips for later use.

2. Put the cut cucumber strips in a small bowl and marinate for an hour, then take them out and drain the water.

3. Put the prepared white vinegar and sugar in a small pot and heat to a boil. After the sugar is completely dissolved, turn off the heat and let it cool.

4. Put the cucumber strips after draining the water in a bowl, add the prepared sweet and sour sauce and chili powder, mix well with chopsticks, then seal it and store it in the refrigerator. After 24 hours, the hot and sour cucumber strips will be pickled and you can take them out and eat them anytime you want.
