Pumpkin Seed Side Effects

Pumpkin Seed Side Effects

Pumpkin seeds are our favorite snack in winter, so what are the side effects of pumpkin seeds? Let me tell you about it today:

Pumpkin seeds are slightly toxic and can affect liver function

It’s okay to eat 30g to 50g of pumpkin seeds at a time. If you eat too much, you will feel nauseous because they are too greasy and your liver can’t handle it.

Ancient books record that pumpkin seeds are non-toxic. However, modern experiments show that eating too many pumpkin seeds is actually slightly toxic, which may affect liver function and cause and aggravate fatty infiltration in the liver. It is not suitable for patients with chronic hepatitis and fatty liver to eat pumpkin seeds.

If you have a physical examination at work and the report says that you have mild or moderate fatty liver, then you'd better eat less dried fruits including pumpkin seeds.

If you are a middle-aged person and feel a lot of work pressure, what indicators can confirm that you are overworked? It is loose stools. In traditional Chinese medicine, loose stools are called loose stools. The stools are like mud. You feel that the excretion is sticky and difficult, and you feel that you can't excrete all the stools. What should you do? The best way is of course to slow down your work pace. If that doesn't work, find a better traditional Chinese medicine doctor to strengthen your spleen and stomach.

The spleen and stomach are the foundation of the body. People with poor spleen and stomach function cannot get normal nutrition supply. The damage to health may not be seen in one or two days, but will be very obvious in 10 or 20 years. People with poor spleen and stomach function will not be healthy.

People with loose stools should not eat pumpkin seeds as they will aggravate the condition.

Some hepatitis B patients have long-term loose stools, so they should not eat pumpkin seeds. I always say that hepatitis B patients need to have B-ultrasound examinations in addition to annual liver function and blood tests. Only B-ultrasound examinations can detect whether there are signs of cirrhosis in the liver.
