Spring health recipes for women

In the spring when the temperature changes frequently, everyone should pay more attention to health preservation, especially women. Here are some spring health recipes for women:

1. Spring Vitality Tea:

Recipe: 1 qian of Astragalus, 1 qian of American ginseng, 1 qian of wolfberry, 6-9 roses. (1 day's supply)

Method:〔1〕 Add 250cc of boiling water and simmer for about 20 minutes. It can be consumed as tea.

(2) Add appropriate amount of water and boil for 45 minutes to 1 hour. It can be drunk as tea.

Efficacy: replenish vital energy, nourish yin and blood, soothe the liver and relieve depression, and enhance immune function.

2. Shenling Poria Bone Strengthening Lean Meat Congee:

Ingredients: 3 qian of Codonopsis pilosula, 3 qian of Poria cocos, 1 qian of papaya, 5 qian of Dendrobium officinale, 1 qian of Eucommia ulmoides, 3 slices of ginger, appropriate amount of shredded pork and bone broth, 1 cup of rice. (Serves 3)

Method: Put the medicine into the medicine bag, add 10 cups of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for about 1 hour over low heat. Take the medicine juice and add the broth and rice to cook into porridge. Finally, add the shredded meat and salt. It can be eaten after it is cooked.

Efficacy: Strengthens the spleen and replenishes Qi, improves eyesight and strengthens bones; suitable for people with common symptoms of Qi deficiency such as sallow complexion, loss of appetite, fatigue, decreased vision, and thin physique.

3. Yin-nourishing wheat tea:

Ingredients: 3 qian each of Polygonatum odoratum, Gentiana macrophylla, and Lycium barbarum, 5 qian of malt, 5 qian of dendrobium, and appropriate amount of crystal sugar. (for 3-5 days)

Method: Add appropriate amount of water and boil for about 45 minutes. After filtering, add rock sugar and drink it instead of tea.

Efficacy: Strengthens the spleen and appetite, nourishes yin and promotes bowel movements, strengthens bones; suitable for people with common symptoms such as red lips and bad breath, dry mouth and throat, poor appetite, dry stools, and thin physique, which are caused by a weak fire constitution.

4. Astragalus and Red Date Chicken Soup:

Ingredients: 2 chicken legs or 4 chicken wings, 3 qian of Astragalus, 1.5 qian of Atractylodes macrocephala, 1 qian of Saposhnikovia divaricata, 6 red dates, 5 qian of Ophiopogon japonicus, 2 slices of ginger, 1 tablespoon of rice wine. (2-3 servings)

practice:

(1) Wash the chicken legs (wings) and cut into pieces; put the remaining medicines except red dates into the medicine bag.

(2) Place all ingredients in a pot, add appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, remove any foam and then simmer over low heat for about 40 minutes. Remove the medicine bag, add salt to taste and serve.

Efficacy: Nourishes Qi and blood, strengthens the exterior and stops sweating; long-term use can promote immune function, enhance resistance, prevent colds and nasal allergies, and is suitable for most people.

5. Gastrodia elata and wolfberry sea bass soup:

Ingredients: 1 perch, 3 qian of Gastrodia elata, 4 liang of fresh yam, 5 qian of wolfberry, 3 qian of chrysanthemum, 3 slices of ginger, 1 tablespoon of rice wine. (Serves 3-4)

practice:

(1) Wash the Chinese yam and cut it into cubes. Put the Gastrodia elata and chrysanthemum into a medicine bag. Wash the sea bass and set aside.

(2) Place the medicine bag in a pot, add an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, remove the foam and then simmer for about 45 minutes. Remove the medicine bag, add the yam and wolfberry and simmer for about 10 minutes. Finally, add the sea bass, rice wine and ginger slices. When the fish is cooked, add salt to taste and it is ready to eat.

Efficacy: Nourishes the liver and kidneys, replenishes blood and extinguishes wind; suitable for common symptoms such as dizziness, headache, stiff neck, dry and bitter mouth, irritability, tinnitus and insomnia caused by liver and kidney deficiency and hyperactivity of liver yang; ordinary people can eat it to increase intelligence and brain health, nourish the kidneys and strengthen the body.
