Yellow River Honey

Yellow River Honey

What is Yellow River Honey? I think many friends don’t know much about it. Let me introduce you to the Yellow River Honey fruit.

Yellow River Honey

The name "Yellow River Honey" means a kind of melon irrigated with the water of the Yellow River. Those who have eaten it will feel that the fragrance lingers on their lips and teeth!

Lanzhou is known as the "capital of melons and fruits", and the Yellow River Honey melon is the best among all melons. It is round and small, with bright yellow skin like gold and jade-green flesh, which is very attractive. The melon tastes sweet, with honey juice sticking to the lips, and the aroma is fragrant, with a light and mellow wine flavor.

"Yellow River Honey" is produced in abundance in Minqin County, Gansu Province, and is also grown in other counties and districts. As China gets drier as you go north from south to north, the fruits and vegetables produced there are also sweeter as you go north. Just like a spoonful of sugar in a bowl of water is sugar water, but if you put it in a pot, you won't taste the sweetness. Minqin's "Yellow River Honey" uses off-season production and pollution-free planting technology. It is planted in sandy soil with long sunshine hours, large temperature difference between day and night, and a pollution-free environment. The difference in geographical environment has created the excellent quality of "Yellow River Honey", and it is sold well throughout the country for its uniform size, easy storage and long transportation.

Minqin is a well-known melon town in China. It is located in the lower reaches of the Shiyang River and is a plain dune area. The Tengger Desert and the Badain Jaran Desert form a deformed triangle. The long sunshine hours and large temperature difference between day and night make it very suitable for the cultivation of various melons. It was once famous for its "white melon" in the province and beyond. In recent years, Minqin County has adopted advanced technologies such as pollution-free planting, plug tray seedling transplanting, and solar greenhouse production in melon cultivation, making various melons of excellent quality and diverse varieties to meet the tastes of consumers in different regions. They are popular in domestic markets and purchased by the State Administration of Institutions and entered Zhongnanhai before the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2002. On September 7, 2006, in the Beijing Olympic Fruit Awards hosted by the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee, the Beijing Olympic Science and Technology Committee and other units, the Yellow River Honeydew Melon selected by Minqin County won the third prize of Olympic Recommended Fruit in the fierce competition of 457 sample products at home and abroad.
