Ingredients and methods of corn steamed cake

Thick yellow corn steamed cake is my favorite snack, so today I will tell you how to make it:

Corn steamed cake ingredients

100g cornmeal 100g plain flour

40g granulated sugar 2g baking powder

Yeast powder 4g water

Raisin wolfberry

red dates

How to make corn steamed cake

1. Mix cornmeal, ordinary flour, baking powder and sugar.

2. Make a hole in the middle and place the dry yeast in the center

3. Pour in an appropriate amount of water, let the yeast dissolve first, then continue to add water

4. Stir with chopsticks while adding to allow the flour to fully absorb the water

5. The dough should be slightly thinner to form a slightly fluid batter.

6. Brush a layer of oil in the high temperature cooking container to facilitate demoulding

7. Pour the mixed batter into it and sprinkle with appropriate amount of raisins, wolfberries and red dates

8. Soak raisins and wolfberries in advance and wipe off the moisture; remove the pits from red dates and cut into small pieces)

9. Cover with plastic wrap and place in a warm place to ferment until it doubles in size

10. Remove the plastic wrap, put it in a steamer with cold water, and steam it on high heat for 30 minutes

11. After it cools down a little, remove from the mold and cut into pieces

Corn recipe recommendation: soybean dregs steamed buns

Introduction

One day when I went to a friend's house for dinner, the housewife served me homemade steamed buns, which were so delicious that I quickly asked her for the "secret recipe". Only then did I find out that it was made from the leftover bean dregs from making soy milk. It not only saved food but was also nutritious.

I made it after I got home, and it was really good!

Materials

Soybean dregs corn flour

Flour Angel Yeast Powder

practice

1. Mix soybean dregs, corn flour and flour. The specific ratio is not calculated, flour is more and corn flour is the least.

2. Use warm water to dissolve Angel Yeast Powder. It is better if it is a little turbid. (For steamed buns with corn flour, warm water must be used to mix the dough. The steamed buns are soft and taste good.)

3. After kneading the dough, cover it and let it rise. It should be more than twice the original size.

4. Divide the dough into equal-sized pieces, knead them into buns and let them rise for about 20 minutes.

5. After the water boils, put the steamed buns into the steamer and steam for 20 minutes. Turn off the heat and wait for about 5-10 minutes before serving.
