600g beef, 500g yam, a small amount of pepper, a small amount of salt, a small amount of aniseed, some light soy sauce, some dark soy sauce, some cooking wine, some oyster sauce, some green onions, 3 dried red peppers, some ginger

Beef and yam stew steps

1. Wash the beef and cut it into small pieces. Add cold water and beef to a pot and bring to a boil. Skim off the foam. Take out the beef and put it into the pressure cooker.

2. Add oyster sauce, cooking wine, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, pepper, aniseed, scallion, ginger slices, and appropriate amount of boiling water and salt to the pressure cooker. Press the mutton button of the pressure cooker and stew until the beef is soft.

3. In another pot, add the diced yam and the stewed yam. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the yam is cooked and the soup is almost dry.
