Dietary taboos for diabetics

Dietary taboos for diabetics

In modern life, diabetes has become a common disease. People often call it a "disease of affluence". As a result, there are many dietary taboos. Today, I will introduce a list of dietary taboos for diabetics, so that everyone can see which good things they can no longer eat after developing diabetes.

Dietary taboos for diabetics

1. Fried food is one of the taboos for diabetics, because after the oil enters the human body, it is very detrimental to the control of blood sugar index, so it is not suitable for diabetics. In addition, fried food contains many toxic substances. Frequent consumption will cause hepatitis, cancer and other diseases.

2. Sugary foods are taboo for diabetics. Some foods such as cakes, biscuits and moon cakes are not suitable for diabetics because they contain high sugar content. After eating them, the blood sugar index of diabetics will rise rapidly, and the symptoms of thirst and excessive drinking and eating will worsen, which is particularly harmful to the body.

3. The brains of various animals are also taboo foods for diabetics, because there are a lot of cholesterol in the brains of these animals. After people eat them, their blood vessels will become severely hardened and their blood sugar levels will increase to varying degrees. In addition, eating the brains of these animals will greatly increase the incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

4. There are several kinds of foods that diabetics cannot eat. Nuts such as chestnuts, walnuts, sweet almonds and fruits such as peaches, persimmons, apricots and grapes are common foods that diabetics cannot eat. These foods have a high sugar content and are not conducive to people's control of blood sugar index after consumption.
