Breeding methods and precautions for sweet osmanthus fish

Breeding methods and precautions for sweet osmanthus fish

Osmanthus fish is a kind of aquatic fish with particularly high nutritional value. It is also very popular in life. Some people are optimistic about its economic value and want to breed it in large quantities. But I don’t know how to raise osmanthus fish, let alone what to pay attention to when breeding osmanthus fish. Today, the editor will talk about these issues for you.

Farming methods

1. Breeding conditions

When breeding sweet-scented osmanthus fish, you must choose a suitable pond. The water quality of the pond, the nearby soil and the surrounding environment must meet the requirements of pollution-free breeding. The pond area should be between 4 and 8 acres, and the water depth should be maintained between 2 and 2.5 meters. Try to avoid silt within ten fish.

2. Strict disinfection

If you want to raise sweet osmanthus fish well, you must strictly disinfect the pond. The disinfection time can be carried out ten days before the fry are put in. If conditions permit, it can also be disinfected half a month in advance. After disinfecting the pond, let the pond be exposed to the sun for 3 to 4 days, and then fill it with water. The materials for pond disinfection are bleaching powder, quicklime and chlorine dioxide.

3. Stocking high-quality fish fry

When raising sweet-scented osmanthus fish, you must choose healthy and high-quality sweet-scented osmanthus fish fry, and you must not breed inbreeding. The specifications of the same batch of fry must be kept uniform. In addition, when choosing fry, you must also choose those with a wide body, large and obvious side stripes, bright body color and no injuries. In the natural state, healthy fry will gather together in groups underwater. Except for hunting, they will not swim to the surface of the water and rarely move.

Precautions

When breeding sweet osmanthus fish, you must pay attention to the feeding of feed, and during the breeding period, in order to balance the nutrition intake of sweet osmanthus fish, you should also feed a variety of feed fish. When choosing feed, fish food should be based on palatability, and the specifications should be small but not too large, so that sweet osmanthus fish of different sizes can take in the food they need in time. In addition, during the breeding period, you must also pay attention to the amount of feeding. You should adopt the principle of small amounts and multiple times. Generally, you should feed 5 to 7 times a day. Reduce the number of feedings in winter because the water temperature is low and the sweet osmanthus fish eats less. If you feed too much, it will cause feed waste and produce some harmful bacteria in the pond.
