How to make abalone and Wenchang chicken congee

1. Put canned abalone into chicken soup and simmer for 15 minutes until it is well-seasoned. Take out and cut into small pieces of 0.3 cm square. Chop Wenchang chicken into small pieces weighing about 10 grams and set aside.

2. Put the white porridge into the clay pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Add the shredded ginger, abalone, the broth from the abalone, and the Wenchang chicken and simmer over low heat for about 7 minutes until just cooked. Add salt to taste and sprinkle with chopped green onions when serving.
