"Ben Jing" says that it can "remove blood stasis and remove dampness and arthritis". "Compendium of Materia Medica" says that "Schizonepeta is a drug that lightens Yang, dispersing wind and clearing blood. For all wind-toxic symptoms, when they have come out but not yet come out, and when they want to dissipate but not yet, they can be cleared with the raw use of Schizonepeta.
