How to make Cornus officinalis porridge

1. Soak the cornus officinalis in cold water and rinse it clean;

2. Wash the japonica rice, soak it in cold water for half an hour, remove it and drain the water;

3. Take a pot, add cold water, cornus officinalis pulp and polished rice, and boil over high heat;

4. Then cook over low heat until the porridge is done, add sugar to taste and serve.

Japonica rice: Tang Dynasty Meng Shen said: "Japonica rice cannot be eaten with horse meat, as it will cause tumors. It cannot be eaten with Xanthium sibiricum, as it will cause sudden heart pain."

Wang Yuying of the Qing Dynasty: "Although fried rice is fragrant, it is dry and helps to stimulate fire. People who are not suffering from cold and diarrhea should avoid it."

Cornus officinalis: This product is incompatible with Platycodon grandiflorum, Saposhnikovia divaricata and Stephania tetrandra.

Function: Tonifies liver and kidney, astringes semen and stops sweating. Suitable for liver and kidney deficiency, dizziness, tinnitus, backache, spermatorrhea, enuresis, frequent urination, excessive sweating, and leukorrhea due to kidney deficiency.

Cooking method: First wash the Cornus officinalis pulp, remove the core, put it into a casserole with the polished rice and cook it into porridge. When the porridge is almost cooked, add sugar and cook for a while.

Note: A course of treatment for Cornus officinalis porridge is 3-5 days. After the disease is completely cured, you can stop taking it, or take it intermittently for a period of time to consolidate the therapeutic effect. However, it is not recommended for patients with fever or urinary incontinence.
