Seaweed Oatmeal

Seaweed Oatmeal
Seaweed oatmeal porridge is a kind of porridge suitable for babies over nine months old. It is rich in nutrition.

Seaweed Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a coarse grain and is difficult to digest, so you have to wait until your baby is older before giving it to her. When I cook oatmeal porridge, I add some seaweed for making sushi, which is a little salty and tastes better. I also add some raisins, nuts, etc., and cook the adult's meal and the baby's meal together, which is convenient and nutritious!

Ingredients for seaweed oatmeal

50g oatmeal, 1 egg, appropriate amount of seaweed, 500g water

How to make seaweed oatmeal

1. Pour clean water into a pot and bring to a boil. Add the oatmeal and bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat until it becomes thick.

2. Beat the eggs, pour into the oatmeal, stir well and bring to a boil.

3. Tear the seaweed into small pieces and put it into oatmeal porridge and cook until soft.

Tips

1. There are many types of oatmeal on the market. You should choose pure oatmeal. Some "cereals" on the market are a mixture of various grains, such as wheat, rice, corn, barley, etc., of which oatmeal only accounts for a small part, or even does not contain oatmeal at all.

2. It is best to choose oatmeal that needs to be cooked. Raw oatmeal takes a long time to cook, usually 20-30 minutes, while cooked oatmeal takes a shorter time to cook, usually about 3 minutes. Raw oatmeal is more troublesome to make, but the nutrients are more completely preserved.

3. It is best not to choose "instant" cereal. Although "instant" cereal is convenient, the more it is processed, the more nutrients it loses. Also, do not choose cereal with various flavors, because this type of cereal often contains added maltodextrin, sugar, creamer (non-dairy creamer), flavors, etc.

4. The nori used is the nori for making sushi.

5. There is no need to add salt, sugar or other seasonings to the food of babies under 1 year old.

6. Follow the principles of adding complementary foods. If there are ingredients that your baby has never eaten before, be careful when trying them to avoid causing allergic reactions or other discomfort.
