When planting, you should pay attention to the selection of varieties. Varieties such as white jade dragon fruit and pig dragon fruit are suitable for large-scale planting. In addition, dragon fruit is a climbing plant. When planting, you should count cement poles as its support.

It is a shallow-rooted plant with strong drought tolerance and is afraid of waterlogging, but it also needs sufficient water during its rapid growth period. Therefore, when it is growing vigorously, it must be watered enough and not watered when it is dry. Try to avoid placing the whole plant near water or irrigating the field, otherwise it will die from lack of oxygen. Pitaya does not require much fertilizer. It is usually fertilized once in spring, summer, autumn and winter. The fertilizer can be decomposed organic fertilizer.
