To make hawthorn wine, you need 1,500 grams of hawthorn, 50 grams of liquor, and 400 grams of sugar. After preparing the ingredients, prepare a clean gauze and a clean bottle.

Specific steps for making hawthorn wine

1. Wash the prepared hawthorn, then remove the core, stalk and stem of the hawthorn, then wash it with clean water and set aside.

2. Wash the prepared bottle and remove the water. It is best to use a large-mouthed glass bottle. After processing, put the prepared hawthorn into the bottle. Be careful not to fill it too full. 70% full is enough. This will facilitate its later fermentation.

3. Use tools to crush the hawthorns in the bottle, then add appropriate amount of sugar, and then put in the prepared white wine. This will make the hawthorn wine taste stronger.

4. After putting in the white wine, seal the bottle and place it in a warm place for fermentation. Stir it every two or three days. After about two months, liquid will precipitate out of it. At this time, the homemade hawthorn wine is fermented. Take it out and filter it with gauze. Put the filtered hawthorn wine into a bottle and take it whenever you want to drink it.
