Grapefruit tastes sweet, sour and cool in nature. It can quench thirst, aid digestion and soothe the stomach. So what are the effects and ways to eat grapefruit ?

1. Treat senile cough and asthma.

Ingredients: grapefruit peel. Method: Soak with boiling water and drink instead of tea.

2. Treat lung heat and cough.

Ingredients: 100g grapefruit, 100g large pear, a little honey. Method: Wash and cook the above ingredients until soft, add honey or rock sugar to taste.

3. Treat cough with phlegm and gas.

Ingredients: grapefruit, wine, honey. Method: Peel and core the grapefruit, cut into slices and soak in wine overnight. Boil until soft, mix with honey and swallow from time to time.

Ingredients: 15g of grapefruit peel, 10g each of chicken gizzard lining and hawthorn, 5g of Amomum villosum. Method: decoct in water. 8. Treat acute mastitis. Ingredients: 200g of grapefruit pulp, 50g of green peel, 30g of dandelion. Method: decoct in water.

8. People who often suffer from colds, coughs, and asthma

You can use a fresh pomelo, peel and remove the core, add 50 grams each of northern apricot, Fritillaria, and Tremella fuciformis, add a few bottles of honey and stew it for a day. Regular consumption can strengthen the lungs.
