How to grow pearl spider plant

1. Matrix

When cultivating pearl spider plants, you must choose a suitable substrate. It is a shallow-rooted plant and can be planted in a shallow pot. Tiles should be placed at the bottom of the pot and a layer of cinders should be laid. The culture medium inside needs to be prepared with leaf mold and an appropriate amount of sand. Only in this way can the pearl spider plants grow healthily.

2. Temperature and sunlight

The pearl spider plant is a plant with a particularly strong adaptability. It does not have high requirements for the ambient temperature at ordinary times, but it grows fastest when the ambient temperature is between 20 and 28 degrees. It will stop growing when the temperature drops below zero, but it will not die. In summer, the high temperature of more than 35 degrees will also stop its growth. This plant likes to grow in a semi-shaded environment. It can be cultivated in a place with sufficient scattered light at ordinary times, and it must not be exposed to direct sunlight.

3. Watering and fertilizing

Do not overwater the pearl spider plant, and do not allow water to accumulate in the flowerpot, otherwise it will not rot. Under normal circumstances, water it once every 3 to 5 days. Fertilizers should be applied in time when cultivating pearl spider plants, but concentrated fertilizers should not be applied. The principle of thin fertilizer application should be followed. In addition, during the cultivation period, 3% nitrogen fertilizer and potassium dihydrogen phosphate should be sprayed on its leaves frequently, which can make its leaves larger and its ornamental value can be significantly improved.

Breeding precautions

When cultivating pearl spider plants, you must pay attention to the fact that there is no water accumulation in the flowerpot. When the outside temperature exceeds 30 degrees, you must move it to a cool environment in time, cut off the dead branches, and spray water on its leaves frequently to keep it in a normal growth state.
