When making rose candy, you need to prepare 20 grams of rose, 20 grams of honey, 5 grams of plum brine, and 5 grams of salt. If you want to make more, you can increase the ingredients in proportion. The amount of salt must not be less, otherwise the rose candy will deteriorate quickly.

Rose sugar recipe steps

1. Wash the prepared fresh rose petals with clean water, then remove the moisture, put them into a clean glass bottle, then add the prepared plum brine, table salt and honey, mix well, seal and store for three hours.

2. After the moisture of the roses is pickled out, add sugar and stir with chopsticks, then seal and ferment. Take it out on the second day and stir with chopsticks. Do this for three consecutive days to expel the gas produced during the fermentation of the rose sugar.

3. Every four days, the fermentation of the rose sugar will become mild. At this time, you can seal it and let it ferment directly without worrying about it. After ten to fifteen days, the homemade rose sugar will be fermented and you can take it out and eat it when you want to eat it.

4. When you make rose candy, you must be careful not to choose ornamental roses. You must use edible roses to make rose candy, otherwise the rose candy you make will not taste good at all.
