Cultivation methods and precautions of tuberose

Tuberose is an ornamental plant that blooms at night. It has a long flowering period, rich fragrance, and a variety of colors. It is very beautiful and has a high ornamental value. Many people like to grow it. However, some people don't know much about the cultivation methods of tuberose and can't grow it well. Today I will give a special introduction to the cultivation methods and precautions of tuberose. Friends who like to grow tuberose can learn from it.

Cultivation methods and precautions of tuberose

1. Potting soil for tuberose

If you want to grow tuberose well, it is very important to prepare the potting soil. It likes soil with good drainage and loose soil. The potting soil can be made of peat soil, leaf mold, silt and farmyard manure. In addition, some broken bricks and tiles should be placed at the bottom of the lean planting. This can improve the drainage performance of the flowerpot and is conducive to the growth of tuberose.

2. The growing environment of tuberose

Tuberose has strong vitality and likes to grow in a well-ventilated environment. It can be placed on the balcony or yard between May and September each year to allow it to absorb sufficient sunlight. However, when the weather is hot in summer, it should also be moved to a cool place at noon to avoid exposure to the sun.

3. Tuberose's requirements for fertilizer

Tuberose also has certain requirements for fertilizer when it is cultivated, especially when it is in the peak growth season. It should be fertilized every ten to fifteen days, and the fertilizer applied should be mainly liquid fertilizer. In late April each year, high-efficiency humic acid liquid fertilizer should be applied to the tuberose in time. This will allow it to bloom after mid-May, which is very beneficial for prolonging the flowering period.
