How to eat guava? Tips on how to eat guava

Many people have heard of guava. From the name, it seems to be a kind of fruit pomegranate. 70 Guava is not a real pomegranate. Its scientific name is guava, a tropical fruit. This fruit has green flesh on the outside, and there are two types: red and white. It has a unique aroma, a crisp taste, and a refreshing and sweet taste. Guava is relatively rare in the fruit market, and some people don’t know how to eat it. Today I will specifically introduce some methods and techniques related to eating guava.

How to eat guava

Although guava is produced in the tropics, its fruit structure is very similar to that of apple. People can wash it after purchasing it and eat it directly like an apple. It's just that the taste of the fruit peel is not very good. If you don't like it, you can peel it before eating.

Tips for eating guava

1. Guava has a unique aroma. Some people cannot accept it when they use it for the first time. In this case, you can process the guava before eating it. The best processing method is to remove the guava, make the peel into a paste, and then add an appropriate amount of rock sugar to marinate. After marinating, put them in a stainless steel pot and simmer over low heat. After the guava pulp in the pot becomes transparent, turn off the heat and take it out. After it is done, you can use it directly. Such guava tastes particularly good.

2. Guava can also be made into fruit wine for people to drink. When making fruit wine with guava, you should first wash the guava with clean water, then drain the moisture on the surface, and then use a clean knife to cut the guava into pieces. Prepare an appropriate amount of rock sugar and a larger clean glass bottle, put a layer of guava, then a layer of rock sugar, and repeat this process. Finally, add an appropriate amount of pure water, seal the bottle cap, and put it in a cool and ventilated place to ferment. After the guava in the bottle is fermented, take out the filtered fruit wine and drink it directly.

3. Those unripe guavas can also be eaten. Although they taste bad, they can be pickled for people to eat. After pickling for thirty or sixty minutes, you can prepare an appropriate amount of sour plum powder and table salt. Before pickling, you should first wash the guava and cut it into pieces, then sprinkle with appropriate amount of table salt, marinate for half an hour, rinse with clean water, then add appropriate amount of sour plum powder and mix well and marinate for half an hour. After pickling, take it out and eat it directly.
