2. Stewed Pork Ribs with Water Chestnuts

Water chestnuts stewed with pork ribs are also very delicious. When making it, cut the ribs into sections and blanch them in boiling water. Then remove the skin of the water chestnuts and cut them into pieces. You can also prepare some potatoes and carrots and cut them into pieces. First, stew the ribs with water, green onions and ginger. When the ribs are 60% cooked, add the potatoes, carrots and water chestnut pieces into the pot and stew them together. Stew for about 40 minutes and it will be done. At this time, add salt and MSG for seasoning. After mixing well, you can take it out and eat.

3. Water chestnut cake

Water chestnut cake is also a common way to eat water chestnuts. When making it, the water chestnuts need to be processed into powder in advance, and then 500 grams of water chestnut powder and 600 grams of white sugar are added to one kilogram of water and mixed evenly. Finally, it is made into a slurry. Pour the slurry directly into the steaming tray and steam it in the steamer. Steam it for 20 minutes after the water boils. The water chestnut slurry will solidify.
