Middle-aged women are the second type of hypoglycemia caused by neurological dysfunction. The second is excessive insulin, which can cause low blood sugar. Alcoholic, exercise-induced, and starvation-induced hypoglycemia are some of the more common causes of hypoglycemia. Alcohol causes lactic acid changes, damages glycogen, and causes hypoglycemia.
