You need some hawthorns, 150 grams of rock sugar, a large bowl of boiling water, and an appropriate amount of bamboo sticks.

Step 1: Clean the surface of the hawthorn and use chopsticks to poke out the middle part of the hawthorn and scrape it clean.

Step 2: Thread the hawthorns according to the length of the bamboo sticks, leaving a basic length for the bamboo sticks.

Step 3: Pour rock sugar into a casserole, add boiling water and stir while heating.

Step 4: Boil the rock sugar water until it becomes rock sugar syrup. Make sure it is completely dissolved and then add the skewered hawthorns.
