How to identify ripe bananas

How to identify ripe bananas

Bananas are mainly produced in tropical areas in southern China. They need to be transported over long distances to be sold all over the country. For this reason, bananas are not ripe at all when they are collected from the production area. Ripening bananas has become a necessary step before bananas are put on the market. However, bananas ripened with excessive drugs are harmful to the body and are not easy to buy and eat. However, for most people, they do not know how to identify ripened bananas. Today I will tell you some of the characteristics of ripened bananas so that people can easily learn how to identify ripened bananas.

How to identify ripe bananas

1. The peel of ripened bananas is relatively smooth and does not have "plum blossom spots". "Plum blossom spots" are the most important sign of naturally ripe bananas. Therefore, when buying bananas, you can choose those with "plum blossom spots", which is relatively safer.

2. If excessive drugs are used to ripen bananas, people can smell some chemical smell when buying them. Based on this characteristic, you can smell them first when buying bananas. If there is a chemical smell, it proves that it is a ripened banana, and it is best not to buy it.

3. The appearance of artificially ripened bananas is relatively uniformly yellow, but the flesh inside is very poorly mature, and some have hard cores. Naturally ripened bananas not only have an attractive, uniform yellow appearance, but the banana flesh inside also becomes soft, so people will not feel the hard core when eating, and they are sweet and delicious from the inside out.
