2. How to make red bean, coconut and taro cake

Step 1: Process the red beans. The red beans should be processed in advance. Wash them first and soak them in warm water overnight until they swell. Steam the red beans in a steamer and set aside after they are cooked.

Step 2: Process the taro. Peel the taro and cut into strips for later use.

Step 3: Make the coconut milk paste. Add coconut milk to the rice flour and stir thoroughly until the rice flour paste has no grains and becomes a smooth flowing liquid. After mixing thoroughly, add honey and stir further.

Step 4: Layer the ingredients. Take a glass container, apply olive oil on the bottom and walls , and spread the cooked and cooled red beans on the bottom of the glass, trying to spread them into a single layer. Spread the shredded taro on the red beans as well. Cover with the coconut milk sauce prepared earlier , and then spread another layer of red beans.

Step 5: Cover the glass container with film, steam it for 40 minutes, and cool it down after steaming. Cut it into pieces as needed.
