When making blanched water spinach, you need 350 grams of water spinach, four to five dried red chilies, a head of garlic, an appropriate amount of ginger, and also prepare appropriate amounts of salt, chicken essence, and light soy sauce.

Steps to cook blanched water spinach

1. Remove the old leaves of the water spinach, then wash it with clean water and set aside. Chop the red pepper into thin pieces, wash the ginger and cut it into shreds, remove the skin of the garlic and make garlic paste.

2. Put clean water into the pot and heat it to boil. After boiling, put the washed water spinach into the boiling water and blanch it for two to three minutes. Then take it out, drain the water and place it on a plate.
