How to plant eggplant? Eggplant planting technology

How to plant eggplant? Today I will introduce the planting technology of eggplant to you in detail:

1. Preparation before planting

Stuffy greenhouse disinfection: For every cubic meter of greenhouse or shed, use 4 grams of sulfur powder, add 0.1 grams of 80% dichlorvos and sawdust.

Add 8 grams of foam, mix well and ignite, seal the greenhouse or shed for 24 hours, and then open it to allow for ventilation.

Land preparation and fertilization: Apply 5,000 kg of high-quality farmyard manure per mu, mix the manure and soil, harrow and level, and dig 10-15 cm deep planting furrows with a row spacing of 55 cm. Apply 20 kg of diammonium phosphate and 30 kg of potassium sulfate per mu, and cover the soil with 5 cm of soil after fertilization (avoid the drip line).

2. Planting:

Plant the seedlings at a spacing of 25-30 cm (be careful to avoid slow seedling growth caused by seedling clumps being broken), then water the ditch with enough planting water, and build up the soil into ridges after infiltration. Cover the ground with film on the second day, using 1.0-1.2m wide film, buckle two ridges at a time, pull it to the same length as the ridge, then use a blade to make a vertical opening at each plant position, lead the seedlings out of the opening, and finally tighten the film, press it tightly with soil, and seal the planting opening.

3. Management after planting

Water and fertilizer: Water the seedlings once every 3-4 days after planting, and start to squat after the seedlings have grown. When the seedlings are about to open (about 13 days), start to irrigate the dark ditch. When the ground temperature reaches 18℃, both the open and dark ditch can be irrigated, but attention should be paid to ventilation and moisture removal. When the seedlings are about to open, apply 10-15 kg of urea or 10 kg of diammonium phosphate per mu, once every 20 days. You can also use Damin "Luxing" or "Yunda 120" as foliar fertilizer.

Pruning and leaf removal: Double-stem pruning is used. After the gate eggplant is formed, two outward side branches are cut off, leaving only two upward double stems. Generally, the top is pinched after the 7th fruit to promote early fruit maturity. When the gate eggplant is bulging, the three leaves at the base are removed. Later, as the plant grows, the bottom leaves are gradually removed to facilitate ventilation and light transmission of the group.

Harvest:

Harvest when there is no white ring at the junction of the sepals and the fruit. Early-maturing varieties can be harvested 20-25 days after flowering.
