Steps to cook cowpea in sesame sauce

Cowpeas with sesame sauce are very delicious. It is a dish I often make at home. I plan to make it again tonight, so now I will tell you the specific method:

Cowpea Introduction:

Cowpeas, which we usually call "green beans", can be used for stir-frying, stewing, cold dressing, cooking noodles or making stuffing. Older cowpeas are suitable for stewing, which are meaty and fragrant; for cold dressing or stir-frying, try to choose the kind that is firm when pinched, which is crispy and tender.

Ingredients for Cowpea Sauce:

250 grams of tender cowpea, 2 spoons of sesame sauce, 3 cloves of garlic, sesame oil, salt, light soy sauce, appropriate amount of sugar, and a little chili oil.

How to cook cowpea in sesame sauce:

1. Add sesame oil, salt, soy sauce, sugar, chili oil and a small amount of warm water to the sesame juice;

2. Pick and clean the cowpeas, and cut them into inch-long sections;

3. Blanch in boiling water until cooked;

4. Remove from the heat, cool and drain.

5. Smash the garlic and chop it;

6. Arrange the cowpea on a plate;

7. Sprinkle with minced garlic;

8. Pour the prepared sesame sauce on top and mix well before eating.

Kind tips:

1. Choose tender cowpeas that are firm when you pinch them;

2. When blanching the cowpeas, add a little oil to the water, and the blanched cowpeas will be emerald green;

3. The blanching time of cowpeas should not be too long, just until they change color and are cooked. Take them out and rinse them immediately, so that they will be crispy.

4. Add the amount of sesame sauce according to personal preference.
