Steps for cooking lamb stewed with radish

Mutton and radish are a perfect match. The two ingredients complement each other in nutrition and are a reasonable combination of meat and vegetables. Radish can remove the fishy and muttony smell of mutton and can also absorb some of the fat in mutton. White radish is sweet and cool in nature, and has the effects of cooling, detoxifying and removing internal heat. This can solve the problem of getting internal heat easily after eating mutton.

Steps for cooking lamb stewed with radish

1. Prepare the leg meat and lamb bone meat.

2. Soak the mutton and mutton bones in clean water for more than 2 hours.

3. Use gauze to wrap the star anise, bay leaves, peppercorns, tsaoko, onions and ginger to make a seasoning packet.

4. Prepare dates and wolfberries.

5. Wash the white radish and cut into dice.

6. Cut the mutton and mutton bones into pieces.

7. Put it in a pot of cold water, bring to a boil and blanch it.

8. Rinse the blanched mutton to remove the blood foam and drain the water.

9. Put the mutton into the soup pot and add water.

12. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 1 hour.

13. Add salt and white radish cubes.

14. Add wolfberry and jujube.

15. Continue cooking until the radish is soft.

16. Add pepper and chicken essence to season.

Tips

Mutton has a very high nutritional value, but it should be eaten with caution in hot summer days or by people with fever. People with edema, bone steaming, malaria, external infection, toothache and all fever-related diseases should not eat it. Red wine and mutton are taboos, as they will produce a chemical reaction when eaten together. Mutton and watermelon should not be eaten together, as they will cause diarrhea and other reactions.
