Cowpea dietary effects

The therapeutic value of cowpea

The seeds or pods of the leguminous herb cowpea. Also known as rice beans, kidney beans, long beans, wakame beans, and milk beans. Cultivated in most parts of my country. Harvest the mature pods in autumn, remove the pod shells, and collect the seeds for later use; or pick the immature young pods in summer and autumn for fresh use. 【Usage】Decoction, cooking or stir-frying meat.

[Additional recipe] Cowpea and water spinach soup: 200g cowpea (young pods) and 250g water spinach, add water and boil to make soup. You can also add cooking oil, salt, etc.
